Dear readers,
my name is Jakub, and today I’d like to share a small part of my past to help you understand me better. Originally from the Czech Republic, I’m now 30 years old.
Growing up, sports played a big role in life. It all began at age six with judo and swimming, followed by a shift to football, where numerous trophies and accolades were earned. An injury eventually ended the football chapter, leading to a new passion—ice and field hockey. Representing the Czech Republic’s National Field Hockey Team for several years and playing in the highest leagues was an incredible experience. But once again, injury struck, and the journey shifted toward martial arts.
The world of boxing and MMA became the new focus. Boxing competitions continued for a while, even after moving to England. There was also an unforgettable boxing match in Bali and time spent training at a Muay Thai camp there.
After relocating to the Netherlands, kickboxing took over for a while, but something felt off. The constant bruises, blood, and aggression started to feel overwhelming. This led to exploring Tai Chi and Qi Gong, practices that have been a part of life ever since. For the first time, it felt like entering a new kind of school—a school of life.
Despite all the sporting success, something was missing. Inside, there was a deep sense of emptiness, uncontrollable emotions, anger, and constant fear. On the outside, it might have looked like everything was fine—a tough guy with it all together. But internally, there was a struggle and insecurity. In an attempt to fill this void, drugs became a “solution.” The use of both recreational and hard drugs started at a young age, and I was surrounded with drug addicted people and criminals…I was becoming one of them. Ruining other people lifes and dreams for my own profit.
And I’ll stop here for now, but stay tuned! Next week, we’ll dive into “how the transformation began.”
I want to personally thank to all of you for taking the time to read my story—I truly appreciate it. If any part of this resonates with you, or if you have questions, tips, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to connect with you and hear your story.
My mission is to help others avoid years of struggle and battles, and to offer the same hope and opportunity that was once given to me and to live more healthy and happy life.
Your JK
